Destination Covered: Leh - Stakna - Thiksey - Spituk - Nimu - Leh

The Indus River rafting offers a spectacular river rafting course along with camps at interesting locations. Much easier and quieter than the Zanskar, the Indus is suitable for Grade II and III trips. The river, which originates in Tibet , flows down through Ladakh, past Leh, and then passes into Pakistan.

Day 01:- Leh Kushok Bakula Airport
Arrival at Leh Kushok Bakula airport our RIE representative will meet & Greet you and transfer to the Hotel. This flight is one of the most sensational flights in the world. On a clear day from one side of the aircraft can be seen in the distance the peaks of K2, Nanga Parbat, Gasherbrum and on the other side of the aircraft, so close that you feel you could reach out and touch it, is the Nun Kun massif. You would take a little time to settle in and acclimatize since you have gone from a relatively low elevation in New Delhi to over (Altitude 11,000 feet) During the afternoon, you can walk through the old town, beneath the Leh Palace, to allow you to get oriented to this fascinating city. Overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 02: Leh - Hemis - Stakna -Thiksey (Rafting)
Morning after breakfast drive 50 kms to visit the famous Hemis Monastery. Later drive back to Stakna. Upon arrival meet the Rafting team who will give you instructions on Rafting and safety. Raft along smooth river to reach Thiksey. En-route stops at Stakna bridge and have Lunch. Afternoon Raft again and stop at Thiksey. Dinner and overnight stay in Camps.

Day 03: Thiksey - Spituk (Rafting)
Morning early breakfast drive to visit Thiksey Monastery. Later drive 2 kms further to visit Shey Palace . Drive back to camp and start Rafting to reach Spituk. Lunch en-route. Check inn the camps at Spituk for Dinner and overnight stay

Day 04: Spituk - Nimu (Rafting Ends)
Morning early breakfast proceed to visit Spituk Monastery situated at the end of the Leh airport. Later drive back to the Rafting camp and start the final part of the Rafting till Nimu. Rafting will finish after the confluence of River Zanskar and Indus at Nimu. Later proceed for a short village visit to Nimu. Dinner and overnight stay at the Camp.

Day 05: Nimu - Likir - Leh
Morning after breakfast proceed to visit the Likir Monastery which has an impressive sitting statue of Maitreya Buddha. On the way back visit Basgo Monastery. Later drive back to Leh on arrivel at Leh check inn Hotel Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 06: Depart Leh - Kushok Bakula Airport
Morning after breakfast, transfer to airport board your flight towards Destination Covered, to enjoy yet again, a beautiful flight over the great Himalayas
